This is the state tournament for the basketball teams (18 and over) in the state of Rheinland-Pflaz, and it includes teams from three classifications: Landesliga, Oberliga, Regionalliga, (Oberliga covers two states, Regionalliga three states and could be considered semi-pro), so quite a range of abilities.

In this game, MJC and Andernach are both playing in the Oberliga.

This was Roman Porr's first game after coming back from a foot injury that sidelined him basically the whole first half of the season.
