Going into this game, "Trimmelter SV" was undefeated and the #1 team in the league. This was a very tough opponent, featuring many experienced older players.

While every win is crucial, MJC was a severe underdog in this game, and it was only through Porr's 3PT shooting that MJC won this game. As a result, MCJ finished third in the league. As it played itself out, the first place team (Trimmelter) elected not to advance to the next higher league ("Bezirksliga" or district level) because it meant more travel, and the second place team (Oberstein) was unable to because of logistics, which meant MJC was next in line and did in fact advance. Thus, Porr's play in this game was crucial for this to happen.
In the next season in 2021 (2020 was cancelled because of COVID), Roman Porr skipped the Bezirksliga and went on to play for MJC's more advanced and successful teams in the Landesliga (champions) and Oberliga (2nd place).
