This was the first round game in the state's final four tournament. In this game, it was not so much that the other team beat us, but rather that we beat ourselves. FCK and MJC were two fairly evenly matched teams, and if we had made a few more three-pointers, who knows what the outcome would have been?
As a team, we only shot 4/26 three pointers. But then again, sometimes good teams and players have bad games shooting from beyond the arch; for example in this year's SEC tournament (2022) Kentucky only shot 2/20 three-pointers and lost against Tennessee, and even Steph Curry once shot 0/11 in 2017.
Roman Porr had a decent game, but his three point shooting was uncharacteristically off, in fact he shot an all time low 1/12 (8%). In his defense, he was only able to attend only one practice (out of 8 possible) in the two weeks prior to the game, the first week because of a minor injury, the second because of a Corona case in his other teams. Thus, he had not practiced shooting in a couple of weeks and it showed.
It should be noted, though, that the team played very good defense. FCK had one dominating player and he was basically shut out, for the only time in the tournament(s). Our big guys matched up well!
Also, in the fourth quarter, MCJ was down 17 points at one time (50:33), and then made a strong run that brought them within 4 points with about 1:40 to go (52:48), but we were not able to overcome the rest.
The difference ended up being, that overall FCK had a few more breaks where the ball bounced their way.
Here are the outcomes of all the final-four games:

Koblenz Lützel (top seed Rheinland) vs ASC Mainz: 76:68
1.FCK (top seed Rheinhessen) vs MJC-Trier: 58:51
