This is a tournament, in which the two best teams from the regions of Trier and Koblenz face off against each other.

In a normal year, this would have been a round robin tournament, where each team plays all others in 20 minute games. This year, because of  COVID, the format was changed to a playoff like system, where each region's top seed faced the other region's number two seeds.  All games were full 40 minute games!
The winners of these two games would then play for the title of "Rheinland Meister", and also both teams advance to the state's final-four tournament, the Rheinland-Pfalz Meisterschaften on 2/27/2022.
