U18 District champions -- UNDEFEATED !
U18 Regional tournament (Rheinland), 2nd place.
U18 State Final Four tournament, 3rd place.
MJC-Trier's U18 team finished the season as undefeated District Champions -- and it was not even close, with a points difference of 771 (1291: 520) ! This was Roman Porr's normal age group, however he and some of the other starters already played for MJC's much more advanced and successful teams in the Landesliga (Champions!) and Oberliga (2nd place). Led by their starting five, MJC's U18 simply dominated the rest of this league, and it got to the point where another team (Wittlich) simply forfeited the game rather than having to play us again.
The team advanced to the regional tournament, and then the state final four tournament. Here the opponents were more closely matched, and we simply did not have deep enough a bench to relieve our starters, who had to play basically the whole games (40 minutes back-to-back games). While we blew away the first opponent, we lost to Koblenz in the second game of the regionals (the eventual state and southwest champion) coming in 2nd. We advanced to the state's final four tournament, where we faced Kaiserslautern in a very close and winnable game, but the ball just did not bounce our way: as a whole, the team only shot a very uncharacteristic low 4/26 from beyond the arch.

12/4/2021: All U18 play cancelled due to stricter COVID rules by the state, until February. All cancelled games were played at later dates.
2/13/2021: Team was the top-seed of the Trier-Region in the state semi-finals tournament (Rheinland-Meisterschaften). Roman Porr scored a quadruple double in the first game. The team came in second place, and thereby qualified for the state championship tournament.
2/27/2022: U18 State Final-Four tournament in Koblenz (Rheinland-Pfalz Meisterschaften); 3rd place.
Scoring notes, three pointers: One went in but did not count because the timekeeper had not started the game-clock (@ TVG2). One shot was a heave from midcourt at the third quarter buzzer (vs. Konz), which I did not count in the Stats, even though technically it was a 3PTA, so let's say these two offset.
